The filmmaker and photographer Javier Rebollo collected in 9 FILM (STILLS) a sample of photographs taken while looking for locations for his films.

The artistic relationship between film and photography, undisputed in the work of Rebollo, is born from the need to tell stories.

His photographs are characterized by a poetic sense and empathy with which he invites viewers to join his displayed images. The director asks not only what can happen in this magical space that has captured by his camera but transfer to the visitor his own curiosity, prompting him to freely invent their own history, their happy or tragic ending, and the many possibilities between the two.
